How it works

Korosta learns from your own ratings in your browser.

Rate a few roles you like or do not. Korosta keeps those signals on your device. Later, an unrated posting that resembles your ratings gets a clearly tentative dashed outline. You remain in control of what to review and where to apply.

Cookbooks

A Cookbook tells Korosta how to read a page.

A Cookbook is a local set of page definitions and recipes that recognizes job cards on compatible websites. One Cookbook can cover related sources you choose. Korosta does not host a job board or a marketplace for sharing Cookbooks.

Preview a Cookbook before applying it to a real search.
Keep company, title, and location selectors accurate as pages change.

Browse our free, public Cookbook repository on GitHub for new templates and updated versions. Cookbooks are page configurations that run locally in your browser.

Browse Cookbooks on GitHub

Download a Cookbook file from the repository's cookbooks/ folder.
Import it into Korosta, then review its recipes and supported sites.
Preview the result on a compatible page and click Apply when ready.

Korosta does not fetch repository updates automatically. To use a newer version, download and import it yourself. Keep a copy of any personal changes before updating a customized Cookbook.

Downloads and Cookbook imports are available with Free. Free keeps up to two working Cookbooks; Pro adds unlimited working Cookbooks and Cookbook export. Check the repository's instructions and compatibility notes before importing, and use GitHub Issues to report a broken template. Issues and contributions are public, so leave out personal job-search data, backups, and license keys.

The included and repository Cookbooks are independent templates for use on third-party job pages. CovaTools is not affiliated with the named organizations or site operators, and receives no compensation from them for inclusion. Their names identify intended sources; inclusion does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, authorization, or guaranteed compatibility. Site layouts and rules can change, so check each site's terms and verify postings on the original site.

Creating, importing, forking, activating, or applying a custom Cookbook requires a one-time Enable Custom Recipes acknowledgment inside the extension. It exists because custom configurations are user-authored or imported — it is not a subscription or an account requirement, and it does not make every website compatible.

No account or email is required to use Korosta free.

Korosta reads relevant job-posting content on pages you choose and stores your ratings, hidden companies, seen history, and Cookbooks in your browser. It does not provide candidate or employer profiles, or send your job-search data to CovaTools during normal use. Pro license activation and checks are separate operations; they do not upload job postings, ratings, hidden companies, or Cookbooks.

Adds unlimited working Cookbooks so you can organize more compatible sources, plus Cookbook export, local history backup import/export, rating analytics and manual adjustments, and hidden-company management in the sidebar. One Pro license covers up to 2 active browser installations.

Your purchase covers Pro features and updates released for Korosta 1.x. A future major version may require a separate purchase; there is no automatic renewal.
